Pendaflex was founded in 1882 by Manhattan brothers Charles S. Jonas and Richard A. Jonas. Then known as Charles S. Jonas and Brother Company, it provided the service of ruling lines on paper for customers. Throughout decades of mergers and acquisitions, Pendaflex continued to introduce innovative products that met evolving customer needs. Today their product portfolio includes general filing products, labeling supplies, binders and plastic office accessories. Approximately 90 percent of the company's products are manufactured in North America.
