The Howard Miller Clock Company was founded in 1926 as a division of office furniture manufacturer Herman Miller. This Michigan-based company specialized in mantle clocks and chiming wall clocks, which were popular at that time. During the middle of the century, Howard Miller created a series of iconic clocks under designer George Nelson, including the Ball, Spike, and Meridian.
During the 1990s and 2000s, Howard Miller introduced furniture back into their product lineup. Today they sell curio and console cabinets along with a huge selection of clocks.
