When someone mentions classroom glue, your first thought probably goes to Elmer's. Elmer's Glue-All was first produced in 1947 and today the brand has grown to include a variety of glue and craft products. Elmer's glue is also the main component of the preteen favorite craft, slime. A fun fact about Elmer's - the brand was originally started by Borden, the company best known for its dairy products. In fact, Elmer's bull mascot, "Elmer the Bull" is supposed to be the mate of Borden's famous mascot, "Elsie the Cow."
