Smith Carrel's Single-Sided Modular Study Carrel is a smart choice for cost-conscious schools and libraries. This adder unit only has one side panel, so it's easy to connect to a starter unit or other adder units. The sturdy, 14-gauge steel frame features a full-perimeter rail system and legs that adjust in 1" increments. The carrel's side panel, back panel and work surface are constructed with particle board and covered with thermofused melamine laminate for long-lasting durability. A desktop grommet hole keeps wires out of the way, and a built-in shelf holds books and other materials.
