The sturdy side rails and end panels are slatted for a classic look. An adjustable mattress board provides easy access to babies of all sizes. Four 2" casters – two locking – allow smooth moving and secure resting. Foundations' Chelsea Metal Crib comes with a 3" thick, high-density foam mattress. This crib meets or exceeds all government safety standards, including 16 CFR 1220.

The optional Evacuation Kit contains everything you need to convert this metal crib to an approved evacuation crib. The kit includes: 4" commercial-grade casters, evacuation warning stickers for the crib’s side rails, a photoluminescent route sign that is visible even in low-lighted areas and an evacuation protocol that outlines safety guidelines for training purposes.
